Netel Grange, Astoria Oregon
Directions to the Netel Grange: Go west on
Hwy 30. At the Astoria bridge (that goes to Washington State...
don't
take this bridge), Hwy 30 becomes Hwy 101 and 26. Keep going west
to Smith Point. Bear left towards Olney and Jewell. Go a
few
miles, then go right across the Old Young's Bay Bridge (Alternate Hwy
101).
Follow Alternate Hwy 101 to Miles Crossing (3-way stop, look for
Landwehr's
Grocery and Gas Station). Alternate 101 takes a sharp right turn
here, but you want to (sort of ) make a left-hand turn at Landwehr's
Grocery
on to Lewis and Clark Road. Continue straight out Lewis and Clark Road
for 3.9 miles to the Grange (just past Logan Road Chapel). Whew. It's
easier
to get there than to write out the directions!
